INTRO
A BBC Format that first appeared in UK, in August 2000, with Anne Robinson presenting and over 1,200 editions of the show has been produced in UK. Weakest Link is adjudged the biggest reality game show by a wide global audience in over 60 Counties where the show has debut to date.
FORMAT
A team of nine (9) contestants take turns answering general knowledge questions. The object of each round is to answer a chain of consecutive correct answers to earn an increasing amount for a single communal pot within a certain time limit (say 3 minutes). However, just one incorrect answer wipes out any money earned in that chain.
However, before the question is asked, a Contestant can say 'BANK' and the money earned thus far is safely stored and a new chain is initiated from scratch. When the allotted time for each round ends, any money not banked is lost.
VOTING AND ELIMINATION
Through a telephone poll, viewers vote who should stay and who should go. The results of the poll with ranking of the panel of judges determine who leaves each week.
There are different kinds of music - from salsa to Ballroom that will be the theme around which the episode's performance will be hinged on.
In so many editions of the show, a good chunk of the Celebrities' winnings are donated to charities/children in need.
DON'T FORGET THE LYRICS!
TARGET
18 -49 year-olds
FORMAT
Think you know all the words to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody'? How about Madonna's 'Cherish'? Would you be able to keep on singing once the music has stopped? Contestants who succeed could walk away with thousands in the brand new primetime entertainment format.
The aim of the game is to sing correctly a set number of lyrics popular songs once the in-studio band and backing-singers have stopped. Get the lyrics right and Contestants get the chance to try for an ever larger pot of money. Get them wrong and they're out of the game.
Decision made, it's time to start singing. But you don't need to be Mariah Carey to win Don't Forget the Lyrics! This isn't a talent contest; contestants just need to remember the words.
Having some problems? Help is at hand through three-backups. Contestants can either nominate family members or friend to come on stage and sing along with them. Have two of the missing words revealed or make a choice from three possible answers.
Once they are happy with their response, the contestants' locks in the lyrics and the correct words are revealed, but as the money gets larger, the lyrics get harder! Any contestant reaching the 10`" category has a choice: go for the top prize and attempt the toughest lyrics of the game; or walk away with the prize money accumulated so far.
Don't Forget The Lyrics mixes great music with a high-tension, big-prize game show.
First premiered in July 2007 on Fox Networks, every broadcast of Don't Forget the Lyrics won its slot and a second series has been commissioned for autumn 2007.

A Nigerian licensed version of the great Kid's Quiz show already done in over ten countries of the world, this show is a search to find Nigeria's Brainiest Kid.
FORMAT
Entries are sought for interested kids aged 8-12 and after an aptitude test, the best 144 kids across the nation will then move to the next stage which is on TV.
Here over a 13 week period, each kid will go through the prelim where the top 12 will then have an opportunity to play in the final when the overall winner wins =N= 5m
On each episode there are three rounds of questions to determine the winner.
This is a must watch for children and the whole family as it touches all spheres of life!
At the end of each round, contestants must vote off one player whom they consider to be the weakest link. Until the beginning of the next round, only the TV audience knows (via announcer's narration) exactly who the 'strongest link' and the 'weakest link' are statistically. While the Contestants work as a team, they are encouraged at this point to be 'ruthless' to each other.
When the Contestants are reduced to two, they work together in one final round, identical to previous rounds in all but two details:
First, all money banked at the end of the round is doubled before it is added to the current money pool to make one final total of the game.
Head to Head: To determine who takes the whole money, the remaining two players will each be required to answer five questions each. Whoever has the most correct answers out of five questions wins the game, and all the money.
